Propagate and grow from seed as other Asclepias species; grow also from stem tip cuttings late in spring. While a perennial hardy in zones 8-10, it is often grown as an annual outside, and also makes a good house plant, grown in fair to good light. Prefers rich well-drained soil and full sun.
