Azalea lace bugStephanitis pyrioidesLacebugs leave brown splotches on the undersides of azalea leaves, and may leave small dots on the surface of leaves; leaves eventually die. Lacebugs don't like shade - moving to partial shade should help fight the problem. Use insecticidal soap or pyrethrin compound early in the season, several applications 4 days apart.
