Soak seeds overnight, then sow 1/4" deep, 70-85F/21-31C, or sow immediately when fresh. Very irregular germination. Transplant when 10" tall. Softwood and semi-ripe cuttings of 6" length are rooted best with bottom heat. Well-drained, moist soil, quite tolerant of alkaline conditions. Zone 8-10

Other Passiflora species, including Passiflora incarnata and Passiflora ligularis, share the same cultural conditions. Passiflora incarnata is equally suited to indoor pot culture, hardy in zone 10 though it may be tried with some success in colder areas; Passiflora ligularis, or sweet granadilla, is hardy to zone 10
