This floating aquatic does well in sun to partial shade; peat-rich bog water not well tolerated. Cold areas must be brought indoors to overwinter. Separate new plants from parent as they appear. May also grow from seed when ripe; keep seedlings very moist, 70F/21C. Hardy to zones 9-10
